Hey there!
I’m Natasha Handley, a 2025 graduate of Game Design BSc at Leeds Beckett University. I graduated with a high first (90.65%) and was honoured to be awarded The Dean’s Prize for Excellence in Game Art and Design.
This year I placed 40th out of 2,300 entries in Brackeys Game Jam 2025.2 with my game Blood Engine. Blood Engine also ranked #13 for Audio, #36 for Enjoyment, and #63 for Innovation.
In the last three years, I have designed, developed, and published three polished games on Itch.io, have published on the Google Play store, developed for mobile VR platforms including the Meta Quest 2 & 3, and have twice participated in the Brackeys Game Jam.
My friends say I enjoy very challenging games. This is definitely true. I had the time of my life in Hollow Knight’s Path of Pain. I love overcoming challenges and giving my sharp focus something to work on.
My specialism is in Unity development and programming. I am also skilled in 3D modelling (3DS Max, Blender, ZBrush), sound design (Audacity, FMOD), and game design.
Through my VR and mobile development, I have learnt skills and best practices for improving the performance of all my games, and maintaining awareness for the capabilities of the hardware I am developing for.
I am looking forward to making many more games as part of a team, while continuing to develop my skills.

Blood Engine
Blood Engine was designed and built in a week by myself for Brackeys Game Jam 2025.2. The theme was “Risk It For The Biscuit“.
It ranked 40th out of 2,300 entries (top 2%) and was at one point the 10th most played game in the jam.
